Problem with stitching.
After first washing, the thread at the bottom of the shirt unravelled which undid part of the hem. Ordered tall. Shrank about 1 1/2 inches to fit perfectly.

Perfect turtleneck!
Recently I bought 2, white and the wheat. I like them so much I came back to order other colors & 1 more in white. Petite large, perfect fit, VERY WELL MADE! I couldn't be happier! Thank you, finally a really well made, soft, sized right, pretty top.

Same incredible quality for 40 !!! years
Absolutely perfect! I just ordered six ( 6!!) white cotton turtlenecks. Even in our southern climate.. I live in them once it gets chilly. Can put a white turtleneck under anything.. quilted zip , sweater, blazer-- you name it. Well, did order one color.. it will go with a multitude of bottoms. These are the softest cotton, love the cuffs , and the length! I honestly have 2 off white turtlenecks I bought in the winter of '84... They are so thin and cuffs are frayed.. but the neck is still as stretchy as when new. They have been relegated to a yardwork or paint project situation.. but almost really as simply as a crazy example of LLBean quality! My new ones will probably outlive me as I'm now 81.. maybe I should include them in my will!

Heavy material/shrinks or is just made shorter
Washed in cold water, hung to dry, arms and trunk are very short. I bought for my early morning walks in the winter. I bend over and my skin shows in the back. Unhappy with shorty.

Too short and too baggy!
I asked for these turtlenecks for Christmas and I’m sorry I did. They are so short that they almost do not tuck into my pants, and the sleeves are ridiculously loose. Will not buy (or ask for!) again.
