Nice BUT
Nice shirt BUT when I washed it it shrank a lot and I had ordered a tall and the sleeves and body length became too short.

Beautiful Color
I just received this turtle neck and love it! The color is beautiful and the fabric is soft with a nice weight. Detail of double stitching adds a nice level of quality. The fit is perfect and, based on the quality of the fabric, I hope it retains its size because it is 100% cotton.

Very unhappy with this new fabric.

Why, oh why, has Bean changed this turtleneck top? Why have they made this top so much heavier? Why have they remade it with fabric so unbreathable and clammy?
This used to be a nice layering top. But now it feels like a sweater more than a jersey.
I have purchased this turtleneck for years. And loved it for its simplicity and versatility. It used to be a lovely weight for layering here in New England. I’ve learned to allow for shrinking, but still this top was a staple in my wardrobe. I repeat, for years I have bought this same top.
I just ordered a couple more to replace ones that have worn out. When I pulled them out of the package, I had to check the item number to be sure I had ordered the right top. I repeat, it feels like I am wearing a sweater. It is that much heavier than the original and the fabric doesn’t breathe. Yuck.
