Comfy and cozy turtleneck!
Beautiful color and fit! Unfortunately after I washed it, it shrank in the torso. Probably my fault since I didn’t dry in low.

Not even slightly fitted
I will give credit that petite truly is petite. At 5'1" the sleeves came to my wrists and the shirt did fall at my hips. But the body of the shirt was way too large, not fitted at all. And the sleeves were a bit tight. So unflattering on me, I'm returning it.

This is a PERFECT Turtleneck if you are tall
Not only is the color absolutely beautiful, but I'm so glad I ordered this in tall. The arms are actually long enough! Perfect fit.

Sleeves too short- neck too tight
I was hoping to find good, durable, well made turtlenecks and Bean has fit the bill in the past, but not this time. The shoulders, proportions, drape were fine. The fabric was smooth and comfortable but when I pulled it on, the neck was too tight, which was unpleasant. When I extended my arms or let them hang at my side, the wrists slid up 1 inch above the little bone in your wrist. This is right out of the bag, no washing. This was a plus, but I am typically an XL in women's tops, and of a more athletic build.
I've been hoping Bean would find its soul and come back to the late 80's and 90's quality and craftsmanship but this is not it.

Too much gray
I expected the color to be off-white, golden, but it is light gray. I’m keeping the turtleneck anyway because it is warm, and it matches a few of my sweaters. I wish L.L. Bean had a brown or light brown/golden turtleneck.

Disappointing sizing
These turtlenecks no longer fit. They weren't as close fitting and they bagged.
