High quality turtleneck but expect shrinkage
This is a high quality turtleneck. But I have found out from experience that I need to order this item in the tall size to get the sleeve and body length I need for a good fit. The turtleneck shrinks from tall to regular length on the first wash. I could not give it five stars because of this sizing issue. The fit of the tall size was fine after the shrinkage.

Quality tee in great selection of colors!
L.L. Bean makes terrific tees. They're great quality, the fit is alway consistent, they launder up well, the colors stay true for years. Speaking of colors, I especially appreciate the wide selection of colors they offer. I recently bought the women's petite interlock turtleneck tee in a cranberry color. I had been looking for quite a while for a cranberry red color. Some vendors labeled their tees as being cranberry, but when I got them, they were more of a burgundy red -- not what I needed. Happily, when L.L. Bean labeled their tee, it WAS a true cranberry red. Thank you! I've also been looking about two years for a long sleeve interlock turtleneck or mockneck tee in a true orange color -- as in an "orange peel orange" color, no peachy tones. I hope you can offer this color in a turtleneck or mockneck interlock tee soon!

Still the Best
I visited the Freeport Bean's this month and found this on the sale rack. I should have picked up two more for next winter. Bean's interlock t-neck is still the way to survive Maine winters. And the price was fantastic! Never walk by a Bean's sale rack!

This is a great turtleneck tee shirt! LL Bean always comes through with great quality and stylish clothing. I'd been looking for a long time for a turtleneck tee in this color to wear under a flannel shirt I have. I finally found it at LLBean! Thank you! I've also been looking for an orange turtleneck interlock tee for a long time. I want a good solid orange-peel orange color, nothing with peachy tones or reddish color tones. I've been looking for a couple of years for this color. Nobody has it. Who would've thought such a basic color would be difficult to find? Would you please offer a turtleneck tee or mockneck tee is this color orange?

Disappointing
The fabric is soft but the shape of this shirt was too bulky to layer under light sweaters. The pink color was a bright bubblegum shade

Can't Do Cold Weather Without These!
These turtlenecks are what I pull out every single day when it's cold or even cool. I have doubles of my favorite colors, just for insurance. As someone who's tall, here's my advice to be sure even TALL stays long enough: hang to dry. I've bought from other companies, but Bean's fabric is softer and fit is better.

Interlock Turtleneck Long-Sleeve Shirt
I wear long sleeves and turtlenecks all year long. I have fair skin and had skin cancer scare several years ago from being stupid and baking in the sun at the beach for decades so now I have to stay covered even on hot days. I wish more clothing companies/stores would realize things like this DO happen and have respect for people like me and others as well who like to stay covered up even in warm weather. "Mockneck"is NOT the same as "Turtleneck" and the mocknecks are ugly for those of us who like a HIGH neck shirt and it's annoying when you ask for turtleneck and too many mocknecks show up on website. MORE turtlenecks, PLEASE!!
The interlock turtleneck shirt fit good, I sized up so that it would be looser and longer and comfortable. The material isn't very soft or did I get a lemon.
