Not stovepipe fit
I washed these jeans before wearing hoping the dryer would help reduce the wide legs, but it didn't help. They are too wide to be called stovepipe. I'm keeping them for in-house wear only since they look funny flapping around my ankles. I bought petite 10 and they also seem short, even for ankle length, otherwise fit okay.

Heavenly feel!
Oh my goodness, the fabric of these pants is so amazingly comfortable and authentic. I got them in the brownish shade and as soon as I washed and wore them and loved them, I went back and grabbed the natural colored pair. And all the reviews about the natural color pair are correct: that strangely striped fabric of the pocket lining shows right through the pants! Definitely an odd choice. I decided I like the pants anyway and will just remember to wear a longer top or definitely tucked top to cover that. Like a few other L.L. Bean styles, this pant has a narrower waist than many may find comfortable. Good to be aware of. Also, they run quite short so as a petite person, they actually were perfect length for me in the Brown. The natural colored pair is about an inch and a half longer! Another good thing to be aware of.
