Product Details
You asked, we listened--our iconic mini Boat and Tote now comes in a handy zip-top style. It features everything you love about the Maine-made original, in a perfect size to hold the essentials when you're traveling light. New zip-top keeps everything in!
Since 1944, we've been making our iconic Boat and Tote in Maine. The same way. Our only way. First introduced as "Bean's Ice Carrier," it's proudly stitched by a dedicated team from high-quality American cotton canvas, with a reinforced canvas bottom and rugged overlapped seams. When it's finished, you'll be able to tell it's an L.L.Bean original by the signature "V-point" detail on both sides. We make your tote one at a time here in Brunswick, Maine. Then it's your turn to make it your own.
- Spot clean.
- Heavy-duty 24 oz. cotton canvas is made in the USA.
- Double-layer base.
- Overlapped seams are double-stitched with nylon so they won't rot or break.
- Reinforced flat canvas bottom.
- Handcrafted in Maine since 1944, one tote at a time.
- Add a monogram for a personal touch (or the perfect gift).
- Sized to fit your wallet, sunglasses, keys, and other small necessities, with a secure zip-top.

Lots of room!!
I absolutely love this little boat bag. It’s a perfect shape and holds a lot more than I expected it would. Also, very easy to stay organized and find things. It’s just so darn cute and very practical. Love it!

Classic bag, holds a lot for a small bag
I love the mini boat and tote. I was at LLbean in Freeport, ME, picked it out and had it embroidered and one patch put on. The patch was put on slightly crooked, however. It is a very sturdy little bag and actually holds a lot!

Loved mini zip-top tote
Bought one with navy straps and eggplant color monogram for my 18 yr old granddaughters birthday, and she loved it. Also liked that it zipped up!
