Traditional wool pants have always been the choice of Registered Maine Guides. These feature the extra warmth of PrimaLoft® insulation so you'll stay toasty sitting in a treestand or still hunting. Built with rugged 12 oz. wool that's quiet, wind- and water-resistant, warm even when wet and naturally odor resistant.
- 40-gram PrimaLoft lining, ultrasonically quilted to prevent shifting and clumping.
- 85% wool/15% nylon.
- Dry clean.
- Tightly woven 12 oz. wool is warm when wet, quiet in the woods and exceptionally durable.

As a coat/jacket fiend, I thought a long time about getting the Maine Guide wool parka & can say the camo version uses a thicker weave wool than the green & the buffalo plaid do, & is also really a great piece, even if LL Bean needs real help on the sizing for those as my M wears like anyone else’s XL. Waited for many months for these matching camo pants to come back in my size (32). I’ll say what they’re paying for out of Vietnam is decently serviceable & I’ll be using these in the field. I’ve got extensive experience with cold weather gear & believe these will be fine down to the low teens & single digits, humidity permitting. I’ll use a merino base layer thermal for anything colder, which my area of Texas has only dished up 4x in my 54yrs. Only giving 4 stars for not MITUSA & for these needing a couple more pockets for hunting use.
