better than expected
I got this backpack for both of my teenagers, and they agree that this pack holds everything they need. It is big enough, but not too big and looks "pretty cool, better than expected". Their only suggested improvement would be to expand the size of the phone pocket to accommodate an earbud case.

Overall nice
I bought this backpack for my 4th grader in expectation it will be with him for several years. Overall the bag is nice and has plenty of space but the water bottle holder is so shallow his bottles constantly fall to the ground.

Needs bigger side pockets
I bought this a little over a month ago for my son. We love the inside features and the size overall. It fits his books, laptop and lunch perfectly. Unfortunately, the side pockets on the outside are incredibly small. His stainless steel water bottle is constantly falling out and crashing on the floor. He’s not forced to just hold his water bottle on his walk to school. If you have a small water bottle, or are comfortable putting it inside the backpack, this is a good choice for you.
