I purchased these because they are sold bt LL Bean. I was right on my hunch. They are comfortable and grip well.

well made shoe but need more size availability
after giving these a thorough trial I have to say that they hurt my feet every time I wore them...a medium D width for this shoe does not quite fit my foot; I guess I need a narrow D width.
