Perfect for Minnesota winters, but poor zipper.
On the plus side, this is a warm jacket, perfect for Minnesota winters. I bought it to replace a jacket from another company I had for several years that I recently discarded because of its cheap, plastic zipper. This jacket is perfect except for one major and two minor flaws. Once again, this was made with a cheap plastic zipper, and that will be the thing that eventually fails. What ever happened to durable, quality, steel zippers? On the minor negative side, the hood could have been zippered, and I would have liked to see deeper side pockets. If you like room for a sweater underneath, I would recommend one size bigger than what's recommended. But I'm happy with this jacket.
