Very comfortable to sip
What drew me to the mug is the "Deepest Green" color, it's gorgeous. I love how the bottom is narrow and is perfect for fitting into a cup holder. The handle is great and doesn't get in the way while traveling. Plus the sip part of the mug is designed higher for a great mouth feel. It's well insulated and keeps my coffee hot. I don't mind that the slide tab hangs over the cup when it's open. What gets me is that when I slide the tab closed after taking a sip of coffee, droplets that haven't drained down splatter up. I've since slowed down sliding back the cover and that solved the problem.

Keeps it warm for hours!
This is a great travel mug that was purchased to replace an older Stanley trigger action mug that had gotten gross. It keeps my coffee warm for hours. The only thing keeping it from being five stars is that it is not spill proof.

Nice not great
Purchased because of size, color and LL Bean product reputation. Size and color are nice but the lid is a big letdown. Kinda cheap and flimsy with a slide tab that sticks out. Yeti lids and mugs have it so much better than this. Back to the drawing board LL Bean

Keeps liquid very hot.
The handle is not padded and thus uncomfortable to hold. The top where the opening is to drink from is not big enough for an amount of liquid to pool so it is very hot to drink. That said, the mug keeps the liquid very hot.

Not a travel mug!
I chose this mug because it keeps hot beverages hot, and the blue color is beautiful. Beyond that, I was very disappointed. There is a hole for a straw but there is no straw. I should have realized that before purchasing. The handle is not every ergonomic, especially for a woman's hand. The lid will leak during travel, which I also did not anticipate. I initially thought it was operator error, but I used less liquid and made sure the lid was secure the second time, but it still leaked. I suppose if you're just sitting around the fire then it's a decent mug, but definitely not as a travel mug!
