Faulty stitching
Bought this jacket and went to wear it out For the first time, there was a thread hanging and the jacket had a rip in it. The woman at the store didn’t seem to believe it was a manufacturer error and insisted I snagged it on Something, I didn’t. She have the refund regardless but I can’t say I would buy another one

Love this jacket, but not without flaws
I bought this to replace an older PrimaLoft Packaway Hooded jacket that I purchased in 2012. As others have pointed out, this jacket seems very thin but I've found it to be as warm as my previous jacket. Winter weather came early this year so I've a chance to try it out in a variety of conditions. I bought a large size (as I usually do) which fits me perfectly and still has plenty of room to wear over a sweater or fleece. It's much lighter in weight than my old jacket and there's more freedom of movement in my shoulders. I've been comfortable walking around in single-digit temperatures (with an appropriate underlayer), high winds, snow and rain. While the water resistance of the jacket is fine for snow and light rain, I was out for a short time today in heavy rain and it started to soak through the seams across my shoulders. The pockets are very deep, spacious and warm, but I miss the soft fabric liner in the pockets of my old jacket when I'm walking across campus without gloves. The old jacket also had a flexible inner pocket where I used to keep a light wool cap; now I have to keep it in the stowaway pocket, and that seems fine. As others have pointed out, there's no drawstring on the hood, and I do miss that when it's really windy, but the hood is warm enough when I'm just wearing a ball cap (as I do most days). I haven't yet packed it into its stowaway pocket, but it looks like it'll be smaller and easier to fit in my backpack. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my new jacket.

Use it every day inside and outside.
This is the third one I purchased, like any clothing when worn EVERY day, my first one wore out and I’ve replaced it. I now have 2 newer ones. because I find them so useful under other jackets and inside the house.

Light weight but warm
Living in Utah we experience plenty of seasonally cold temps. This jacket is light weight but provides protection from the cold or wind. Roomy enough to properly layer for the colder temps.

Not for me!!
Nice jacket but if you are looking for warmth this is not for you. So look for something heavier. I returned the coat for something heavier.
