This jacket is a winner
Great jacket; it really does pack into itself very nicely but most important is the way it insulates and keeps out wind. Performs better than expected. Styled nice as well.

Almost super
It packs into a very small ball, which is great for traveling, and it's a sharp-looking jacket. Not as warm as down, but that's as advertised. I do wish that it had more robust cuffs and a drawstring waistband and hood. Other than that, all good.

I received this on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2025, just in time for the weather mayhem that hit the Great Lakes. It was great for errand running with temperatures in the 30's. I wore it shoveling with air temps in the upper 20's and wind chills in the high teens, with layers. I was warm through 40 minutes of shoveling.
For the next generation, a hood adjustment of some sort would be useful. My only nit is how the hood moved around in the 20 mpg wind gusts.

Fabric develops holes
I have been an LLB customer for over 30 years. This is a nice looking and fitting jacket. However, the fabric is not sturdy and a hole developed under the arm from wearing a backpack after one day. The jacket is not particularly warm (I am in New England) unless you are hiking, etc. It is sized so you can wear a vest under it which helps. Overall a nice looking jacket but I would not purchase again and it is likely my last jacket from LLB. My last LLB is a stowaway coat and is 10+ years old and has been through the wringer and no issues.

Worth every penny
This jacket is perfect. It goes from Fall to Spring & is suitable from all but the very coldest of winter days. Great colors, great construction, well designed.
