It's all it's supposed to be!
Bought this jacket for a stowaway layer for hikes and potential search & rescue. Bright red is perfect for keeping 'found' in thick forest (and I like red anyway). I can't believe that something so light is so warm, and packs so small. I'm a member of a small-town volunteer fire department near the AT, and we're often called to find or rescue hikers. Our gear must be light and useful. This makes the grade! Highly recommend.

This jacket is better than my previous version
I have a lightweight prima loft jacket that’s probably seven or eight years old. The new technology makes it easier to fold up into the pocket and is a bit warmer on medium days. I can wear it under a heavier coat if it’s cold.

Perfect except for colors
This is my husbands favorite jacket in black. Navy blue would have been our second purchase, but why ORANGE accents?! And yellow? No one wears yellow. The green is bright, as well as the red. If you sold a solid navy blue, solid brown, or solid olive green we would have bought three more jackets. Solid, dark color jackets do not show the dirt from active outdoor use. Please offer this jacket in more desirable colors!
