Lightweight but WARM!
This sweater was perfect for a winter trip to see the Northern Lights in Norway. It fit under my parka and gave me delightful warmth. The neutral color I chose (sort of a camel color) went with everything! I will also use it as a "winter coat" in Georgia!

Changed my mind!
When I ordered this sweater, I wasn't sure about the fit and the weight. The only size available was small (I usually order XS regular, sometimes even petite). Because it's fitted, however, the small fit well over a pima cotton top or henley. The 100% merino wool makes it warm, and it's a medium weight so it drapes well without being heavy.
Once more, L.L. Bean comes through with a quality product that looks sharp. The red color is a true, bright red, not orangy. This should be a sweater that keeps its shape and lasts for years. So glad I ordered it!

Lovely Fit and Style
Love the fit, style, and color of the red sweater. I also love that it's 100% wool. The fabric pills badly even with normal wear. I don't dare use a shoulder bag while I'm wearing it. I'd buy another color if it weren't for the pilling.

Great Cut
The large I purchased, is a perfect as I’m 5’5” 140 lbs with a short waist.
The fabric is average thickness and softness; so not too hot for indoor use.

Merino wool cardigan
I love the shade of red and the fit. I’m disappointed that it’s pilling after one wear. I’m 5’5” 155 pounds and got size medium. It isn’t itchy or irritating to the bare skin but it’s not as soft as cotton. I can wear it dressed up for the office or dressed down for casual.
