- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 600-denier polyester on body, with 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.

Standing duffle
This new version of the rolling duffle is an improvement over earlier models, which fell over all the time.
This one can more or less stand up vertically, though I wish it had greater stability.
Otherwise, it is easy to pack and holds a reasonable amount. So I’m fairly happy with it.

Took this bag to Europe for 2 weeks
We're a family of 4 and each of us took one of these bags to Europe along with a carryon for 2 weeks. We used compression bags and did laundry in France & Switzerland to help us minimize. Our take away is that this got the job done well. We did go in summer, so clothing is different and perhaps lighter and smaller. If I were going during winter, I would consider taking the same bag. It depends on what you really need to bring with you, but it can be done. We took AirFrance over who recommended we check our baggage because the flight was full and we were in economy. Flying back from Zurich, we brought our suitcases on board without any issue. We dragged these bags all over the Paris metro and Swiss rail. Less is more when traveling.

Strong improvement to an old standard
This is a wonderful improvement is the old style. It can stand on end, easier to see inside and rolls better. Glad I purchased this one.
