We've improved our most popular medium rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access. Meets most airline carry-on requirements.
Introducing our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening that lets you easily see what's inside. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 40L bag uses 23 plastic bottles.
- Spot clean.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.
- Roomy main compartment.

Exceeded My Expectations
When we travel, I very often have to carry my luggage up to a second floor so I was looking for something that was light—my former suitcase was heavy before I even packed it! I also checked the dimensions so I could pack pants, folded once. This rolling duffle was the piece I needed to complete my set of bags. It is delightfully maneuverable when rolling & easy to pick up for those stairs. I am happy with the quality of both the fabric & zippers. Although it only has one pocket, that is not an issue for me because of my other bags. The only improvement I would make use of would be a detachable shoulder strap. I love receiving a product that exceeds my expectations. Even my husband liked it!

Suitable however extra side pockets would help
Sturdy enough for short weekend get aways. Self stand is a plus, and lightweight bonus for maneuvers through ever narrowing TSA Disney style line. One downside is size lacks extra storage pockets needed for quick access items

Roller duffles for the fam
Bought the navy blue one for my son, his Christmas request, after traveling with us using llbean roller duffles. He is excited to use it on an upcoming trip. The one star off is because there are no cinch straps around like the older models. Perhaps the next generation of roller duffels could incorporate that feature.

Pair this duffel and toiletry bag for perfect gift
These duffels make awesome gifts! I’ve given a set to all of my nieces & nephews over the years. They have worn well from packing for a week at Gran’s, a week of summer camp all the way to studying a year abroad. These are gifts for a lifetime and I would highly recommend.
