house slippers
ordered 2 pairs; first pair was sewn crooked on right shoe but wearable; second pair (on backorder due to color) was 2 different sizes of shoe - very obvious and could not wear. sent back for refund. really wanted the second pair color - very disappointed in quality of LL Bean after many years of great products.

Wears well, ties poorly
I have worn 3 or 4 pairs of these to the bone over the last 12 years. They are wonderful, and I love using them when backpack camping to wear around camp, or when coming in from chores to wear about the house. However, through all these pairs, they have never had a good leather tie. The tie is not supple, and over time easily breaks - both, I suspect, as being an indication of poor quality leather. And I know a few things about leather as an owner of a large Quarter Horse and cattle ranch.

Where are the soft-soled moccasins??
I bought years' worth of soft-soled Wicked Good Moccasins in years past, never thinking that you'd stop selling them. I wish I had stock-piled them. They were wicked good!
I can't wear the outside-bottom moccasins (they should be called shoes !) because of neuropathy and back problems. And from all the reviews I read on the mens and womens slipper versions, I'm not alone. Please L.L. Bean !! Give us real moccasins, with the originally great sherpa lining. My very last pair has toothpaste stains on them but I will wear them until the soles give out years from now.

Womens good wicked slippers
I gave my wife wicked slippers for Christmas as her old slippers finally wore out. She loves them to keep her feet warm and comfortable everyday of the year. These are the best slippers available and very comfortable. ⁰

breaking up with my less-than-perfect slippers
sad to say this, but as comfy and warm as these are, I will not be purchasing them again. I have had several over the years, but Im finally done being disappointed by how fast they stretch out. Even though I just bought these in September, they are already too big to safely wear. and no, i do not wear socks in them. also, the ties wont stay tied and I always have to rig something up to keep them tied. Im done, but Im also very sad.
