An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Very stylish at the hospital
Love the color and how soft the fabric is. It's a lighter weight robe, but very comfortable. I bought it for a hospital stay and it provided good coverage over the typical sorry hospital gown. It definitely was a plus not having my moon shine while walking the corridor.

Good quality and pretty
Bought this for my dad for Father's Day to replace his old one. Love the "Swan" colorway--very lovely. Fabric is nice and soft and should last for a long time like his old one.
