This authentic sporting jacket is a time-tested favorite. Heavy-duty Nor'easter cotton canvas has a durable water-resistant treatment that protects you from rain and snow, but comes prewashed for a broken in feel. Put this coat on, step outside, and you're ready for anything.
- Button-out liner: 85% wool/15% nylon.
- Two-ply 10 oz. cotton canvas.
- Nylon-lined sleeves with Thinsulate™ Insulation™ olefin/polyester.
- Dry clean wool liner.
- Corduroy (cotton or cotton/polyester) collar and cuffs.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Five roomy pockets.
- Underarm gussets and bi-swing shoulders let you move and reach with ease.

Great jacket, fits well. It could be warmer, the thinsulate lining in the sleeves should also be in the body of the coat. The lining plus the wool layer would make a warmer jacket.

Comfortable, warm, functional and stylish! My first "Field Coat"is thread bare but after about 15 years remains in service. Other people often stop me and say "I like that coat".
I decided it's time to buy a replacement for formal occasions.

If only this Coat didn't have buttons
I have owned this coat for at least 25 years and finally have to replace it. My ONLY complaint is the buttons. I've had to replace them, going on the fourth time (hence the hunt for a new Coat). If they made this with a zipper, I'd be all over it. But the button closure is a true nuisance. Net result, love the coat, hate the button closure.
