This authentic sporting jacket is a time-tested favorite. Heavy-duty Nor'easter cotton canvas has a durable water-resistant treatment that protects you from rain and snow, but comes prewashed for a broken in feel. Put this coat on, step outside, and you're ready for anything.

Didn't know I was so trendy.....
I am still wearing my women's field coat that I purchased over 20 years ago. I have been complemented too many times to count including today. Usually it is a 20 something who likes it. They love the color and can't believe that extra buttons are provided inside the coat. I have the burgundy color. Bring the women's original field coat back! You have a market in young customers. I would only purchase the original field coat. It's worth the money.

Please make a women’s version of this jacket
Please make a women’s version of this jacket, with all the exact quality and details you have for this men’s jacaket, with nothing less. I’m disappointed to find that you have no women’s equivalent of this classic jacket, and the one that looks close enough isn’t for practical/field use. Women need practical jackets and large pockets too. If the smallest size in men isn’t so large on me, I’d just get the men’s jacket.

Need a women's version, like in the old days.
Years ago you made a women's version of this coat and I completely wore it out. It had the underarm gussets and bi-swing shoulders and there was nothing you could not do wearing that coat. You need to bring it back. You don't seem to acknowledge that women need to be able to do everything men do out in the yard and on a farm and they need the same freedom of movement. Many of your women's coats are good for looking pretty (or driving) but little else, because they are so tight in the back that you haven't got much forward arm swing. (And I am very small and lightweight.)

EXCELLENT FIELD COAT
This coat is exactly what I was looking for. It’s made with quality materials, it’s warm down to about 45 degrees by itself. it’s nicely lined and the pockets are nice. A nice modern edition would be an inner cell phone breast pocket. I walk my dog wearing this coat every day. The length is nice too. Definitely recommend it.

A good choice
I used it during fair weather, so far so good. The arms do stay warm, I am not sure about the wool liner, definitely use midweight shirts such as flannel.

Too large
I usually wear a large and this is a great coat and well made, but the coat size is a little bit larger than the standard large size. The shoulders are a little bit too large and the sleeves are a little bit too long.
