Absolutely love this jacket
Love this jacket!! I ended up going with a men’s instead of women’s but I couldn’t be happier. I got it a size larger than I normally would for an oversized fit so I could layer up underneath since it’s not a warm jacket but I absolutely love it! Would be perfect for fall but I’m going to layer up some sweaters and wear it over the winter on some not so cold days

A Very Handsome, and Rugged Field Coat
My wife bought this very fine Field Coat for me for our fifty-third wedding anniversary. It replaces my old coat which was at least 40 years old.
Its collar and interior lining is very soft and much warmer than the old coat. It is sufficiently warm for most cold days here in the northern San Francisco Bay area. You might want to layer it with an exterior rain coat though. It's made with very fine craftsmanship, and has loads of pockets for whatever you need to carry about. It will definitely out live me and somebody will inherit a very fine coat.

Great jacket, worth it
Great fit for me and I’ve received many compliments on this coat. I wore it this winter while clearing some fallen trees from a snow storm and it kept me warm without being too warm and cleaned up perfectly in the wash afterwards. New favorite jacket, highly recommend

My favorite coat.
I'm 6 foot 3, long limbed, 200 pounds, and bought the extra large tall. The fit is perfect, with enough room to layer if needed. If one wanted a slimmer fit, then a size down would work. Personally, don't like the constricted feeling of tight fitting clothes.
I really appreciate L.L. Bean's offerings in extra sizes.
The quality is really nice too. Too many jackets and coats fit oddly or are to stiff, or hang off your body strongly. This wears so nice, comfortable, and looks good for many occasions.

Absolutely LLBean Quality Jacket
