Fun to wear
I bought these a few weeks ago to have when we go to Iceland next fall. I haven’t worn them very much as the weather here is turning spring like, but have thoroughly enjoyed them the few times I have worn them. I didn’t necessarily believe the instructions to order a one size smaller than my usual shoe size, but after pondering that for a few days decided to do exactly that and, surprisingly, it worked! I’m not sure I understand why LL Bean doesn’t just change the way they label the size, but if it makes them happy, who am I to argue? The shoe is very comfortable, but the heel is a little loose. I reordered another pair a half size smaller, and although that made the heel a touch tighter, it was a little too short in length so I sent it back. I plan to get some heavier wool socks before our trip, which may (or may not) tighten the heels up but I think I will be OK either way. One factoid: they make me laugh when I look at them—makes me feel like a kid again!

Very wide heels
I sized down one size from my usual size. Length and toe box are fine. Heels, however are too wide and back of my foot comes out of shoe when z walk.

The heel drives me crazy,they don’t fit snugly enough so I twist it and the heel twists over. Make them perfectly flat and they would be perfect
