Save This For Real Cold!
I live in east central Wisconsin where winters sometimes gift us with air temperatures of -10 to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. I needed a very warm winter hat to add to my outdoor wardrobe, so I chose the All-Weather LL Beanie. Not only is this hat thick and made of very warm material, but it fits snugly on my head to keep the wind out. We recently had a cold spell of about -10 degrees with a wind chill of about -30, and I tried out my new hat under an L.L. Bean parka for a brisk morning walk. By the end of the first mile my head was sweating, and I lowered the parka hood, relying only on this beanie. It was sufficient for me to complete my three mile walk without my head getting cold. Save this item for the real cold!!

Love it!
I have tried a few winter hats and this one is by far my favorite! My picky kids proudly wear theirs and we constantly keep reaching out for this cap from a pile of various winter hats and caps. We got 4, one of each family member. The best part is, even though the hat is a bit bulky, it sits very gently over the ears without creating the pressure. You can wear it all day and not be uneasy

Happy With This New Hat
This hat is just what I needed. I initially wanted a polar tech hat similar to one I already own. I decided to try this hat and it is great. It covers my ears, is very comfortable and very warm.
I purchased this hat in orange although I am not a hunter. The bright color makes me more visible when I am walking in the road or hiking.
I have a small head and the hat seems a bit large for me. It fits my husband better because his head is large. No matter, though, I can wear it and be quite comfortable and warm.
