Specially brushed on the inside for fleece-like comfort, these lined pants offer the same great performance features as our original style, only cozier and warmer for colder weather.
We took our customer-favorite VentureStretch fabric, now made with recycled polyester, and designed these pants to support a more active lifestyle. From the easy pull-on styling to the made-to-move stretch, gearing up to spend time outside has never been easier or more comfortable.
- UPF 50+ rated fabric blocks at least 97.5% of the sun's UV rays.
- Our blend of 90% recycled polyester and 10% spandex feels light as air with a smooth, silky texture.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Adjustable drawcord at ankle to cinch or shorten.
- Comfortable elastic waistband with adjustable drawcord.
- Two front pockets, two back-zip pockets to store small valuables.

Needs a different lining!
I had read some of the reviews prior to buying these pants, which are fairly pricey for what they are....light polyester with a light fleece liner. The reviews were mixed, especially when it came to the lining of the pants which some people said shed little balls when they wore them. I imagined that LLBean would have read the reviews and fixed the problem. Unfortunately that was not the case and right out of the bag the pants dropped little balls of liner on the floor. So I turned them inside out and put them in a delicate dryer figuring that would get any more loose material off. Again I was wrong; the first time I tried wearing them there were once again balls on the floor, so I decided to send the pants back for a refund. BTW I would not say the pants are very warm...ok for spring/fall and maybe if you're doing vigorous exercise in winter.

Winter warmth
I love these fleece lined hiking pants for wintertime. I have tested them and they are both warm and water resistant. Very comfortable. Only thing to note is that the fleece sheds on the inside for the first couple of wearings

Problem with the lining
The pants fit well and are comfortable - BUT- the lining comes off in lots of little black balls even after washing. I am returning them

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE!!!
These are the most comfortable, easy to wear pants ever!! I put them on shortly after receiving them and have had them on any time I am out of bed since!!! They feel great in these cold winter days when anything can cause a draft and feel cold. They keep me warm! Am ordering another pair!

Too much pilling!
Was so excited to find these pants online, in a petite! Had them on for only 2 hrs this morning & there was pilling all over my house. They are super warm, comfortable, and fit perfectly. Exactly what I was hoping for when I walk my dog in the cold mornings. But for the cost, I wouldn't recommend. Love LL Bean & their merchandise but so disappointed in the quality of these pants. Planning on washing them, but letting them air dry only. Wondering if after time, the pants won't be fleece lined at all, because will the fleece lining totally disintegrate? So disappointed :(

Nice pants but
Nice pants very comfortable but I have fuzzies everywhere every time I wear them. Tried washing them nothing seems to work.

Super warm but shed like crazy!
These are warm pants for winter activities. Good wind resistance and super cozy fleece lining. The issue is that the fleece sheds over everything, even after washing. My closet floor and my long underwear (worn under the pants on frigid days) are covered in black fuzz. Super frustrating. Second issue is the front pockets which don't zip, so not realistic to put anything in as it could easily fall out. The pockets add bulk (and sort of hang open) so are unattractive. These pants do have great zip pockets on rear so would be better to just remove the side pockets to streamline. I would not recommend nor order again.

Warm and comfortable!
I bought this a couple of months ago and I love them! Very comfortable and flattering. I have worn them on frigidly cold and windy days (20•F) and was pleasantly surprised at how warm they kept my legs! Though the cold wind battered my face, my legs were cozy and the wind didn't cut through the pants at all. I highly recommend them! I usually wear a size M in pants, but I sized down to a small in these. They have a flattering style and perfect stretch to the material. For reference I am 5'4" and 145lbs. A regular size S was perfect.
