Quality comeback—wide wale
It’s so nice to see classic wide wale cords making a comeback! Cotton, low stretch put these on my radar. They keep their shape. Fit as expected. True to size. Soft. I bought olive. They are like a kalamata color. Will wear well over time.

Soft, comfortable cords
These high-rise cords will be your favorite pants as long as you love wide leg, ankle length jeans. They become softer with each washing and also "tighten up" a little in the dryer. They have a lot of stretch so if you like your pants on the tight side, you probably want to size down; I don't, so I didn't (:
I prefer to use the dryer for a few minutes to fluff out the surface and then air dry so as not to shrink them too much. I consider these cords to be a nice heavy weight and perfect for winter wear.
I am 5'3" and weigh 140 lbs and am very comfortable in a 10R.

Better Than Expected!
I am adverse to high waisted pants, as I tend to prefer a lower rise. However, I find these pants to be comfortable and not binding in the waist. Though I lean towards a size 6, I ordered the Loden in a size 8 Regular based upon the reviews. I am 5' 3 1/2" and weigh 132. The length is perfect, which I found surprising! (no hemming required!) The fit is a little small in the waist for a size 8. Very fashionable and comfy!

Best Cords

Real corduroy!
Most "corduroy" I encounter these days is flimsy and in not at all the fabric I remember. These are thick and warm. I'm short but with longer legs and often find petites too short. I bought the regular size and had them hemmed. I'll buy petite next time.

Super comfy and cute
