Don’t like the cut of these
Extra fabric around inner thigh. You can see it in the picture with the model, but it is much more pronounced in person. Very unflattering.

I ordered my regular size, but it was way too large in the crotch area. I exchanged for a size smaller and that area is better now.

why formaldehyde???
I've bought all my 100% cotton jeans from L.L.Bean my entire life. I've put on some weight and thought this style would be more comfortable. When I opened the package, I was immediately hit with a strong formaldehyde odor. Even after washing, the odor is too strong to tolerate as it gives me a headache. I googled what to do and am presently soaking the jeans in white vinegar and water. Am hoping with another washing, the smell will be gone. None of the reviews I read mentioned this problem or I'd never have ordered these jeans.

Fit is excellent. Would prefer the same style jeans in 100% cotton. Your Double L Jeans aren't cut to fit my straight build.
