Give it a chance
When I took it out of the package I was disappointed. It felt flimsy and cheap. I washed it and it became an instant favorite. The shirt is soft, mid-weight flannel that even has a chest pocket deep enough to put something in.

Why tinker with the collar?
Love the quality of this flannel shirt, and the color selections, and the fact it's offered in Petite sizes.
However, I was hugely disappointed to find that the collar is gently curved, rather than the standard straight collar. WHY? Every time I put this shirt on, I tug on the collar, wishing I could eliminate the curved shape. I've even thought about cutting it and resewing it myself. Please don't tinker with a good thing and make this shirt with a standard straight collar.

I have had 3 (4 now) of these shirts, and I love my first 3 immensely!!! They are cozy, look dressy if I need them be. They wash and dry (which I only do partially; and then let them finish drying on a hanger) VERY nicely. This one is “off”…….for lack of a better word. It’s still fairly soft, although not of the same consistency as the others, this one is more wrinkled when it comes out damp. The hardest thing to get used to, for me, are the colors that this plaid displays……..VERY odd, not particularly “Bean-like”. I’m going to keep it, because wearing it for everyday work will mean preserving the other 3. It just doesn’t strike me w/the same LLBean quality as the others…..

Love this Flannel Shirt
This flannel shirt is comfortable and warm, with a medium-weight fabric. I especially liked the sienna brick plaid color for something new, and also bought one in sage green. I exchanged the petite large shirt for the petite XL to allow for any shrinkage and to have a fuller drape for wearing a tee under it. It's a very nice style. I'm 5'1" and weigh 165 lbs, if that helps.
