My 84 year old mom is in love with this!
I bought the “Dark Black” in the Freeport store last year for my mom who wears it ALL THE TIME and says it’s one of her most favorite shirts. She loves purple / mauve colors, so I got her the Washed Orchid color as part of her Christmas present this year. She likes this years’ version with the two chest pockets (apparently last year’s version only had one). She’s very happy with this shirt. True to size, soft, no shrinkage. LL Bean, please bring more purple colors!!

Favorite Flannel
The softest and coziest flannel I have ever had. I love the color teal and how the prints are not too over the top. The fabric is the perfect midweight with some substance. If it wasn't for the high price I would buy one in every color. I do find this small for the size like most things I purchase at LL Bean. I normally wear an XL but went 1X in this. Plenty of room in torso and fittted in shoulders. A great shirt that I reach for often.

Very unflattering designs, compared to the past.
These shirts have changed, and not in complimentary ways. They're still slightly fitted, which is the only good thing. However, the patterns/designs of the plaids are very large, which are not complimentary to those who wear small - medium sizes. But what I find very unflattering is that there is now not one small chest pocket, but two enormous pockets. I feel like I'm wearing grandpa's farm shirt instead of the appropriately designed and fitting shirt of the past.

Overall a great shirt
I bought 2 of these shirts in two different colors. They are soft, warm, and comfortable. My only complaint is the cuffs. Even buttoning the cuff on the widest opening, my watch does not fit under the cuff. I resewed the button to create the widest cuff possible, and now my watch barely fits under the cuff. My husband's long sleeved shirts always leave plenty of room around the cuffs. Why aren't women's shirts made the same way?

This shirt is like a wonderful hug!
I can't believe the money I wasted on 'flannels' from other stores. This is a flannel. Warm, sturdy, comfy, substantial, and cotton. I was so worried that it would shrink but if it did, it was insignificant. I am a 2x in most clothes. This was the best gift I ever gave myself and I think I am going back for another.
