Great wardrobe addition
Fits very well and the fabric is super soft. Nice to have a flannel that isn’t quite a flannel but has a slightly vintage look. Liked it enough to buy a second one in dark blue.

Not what I expected
The fabric is a cross between a looser weave and almost like a thick gauze. I got the Natural color and it has mineral green and orange stripes thru it. Pretty shirt and it goes with so many other LLBean pieces I own.

Nice shirt
I love the soft old fashioned flannel and the teal plaid color but the sizing is a little off on this shirt. I almost always order a women’s size small regular in Bean shirts. This time I ordered a medium thinking I could layer something underneath it. It was huge and long and the large pockets didn’t lay right. I returned it for a petite small which fits close and short and looks completely different than the regular size. I will keep it and use without layering except for a tank underneath because I love the teal color and the pockets lay the way they should.

Disappointed
Image on computer screen seems to make the lighter color blue brighter against the darker . In reality this was not the case!!! When shirt worn it is dark shirt. Had talked with phone rep as part of purchasing and nothing said therein gave clarity on the true color impact. Disappointed!

My favorite LL Bean flannel shirt.
The 1912 Field Flannel shirt is my favorite of the LLBean flannels. Loose enough to snuggle in but not so loose that it looks messy. I buy it a size larger than I need because it does shrink, even if it’s washed in cold water and line dried. I just wish they would carry more flannel shirts with tasteful shades of pink or purple.

I’ll wear my 3 until they are threadbare.
Super comfortable, I wish I had one for everyday of the week (though my 3 are gold to me). Great investment I’ll wear for years and pass down.

Nice flannel.
This shirt is soft and fits nicely. The bottom hem on this particular shirt is curling, thinking it was not stitched correctly.

Goldilocks Flannel
Not too heavy, not too light. Fit is true to size. Laundered well with little to no shrinkage. I used cold water per the laundry instructions on the tag. No ironing needed. I bought the brown retro check. The pockets and side seams match perfectly.
