Wanted to love
I loved the length and look of this jacket. I did not like that there was no additional wamr cuff at the end of the sleeve, although they were long enough, there was no indoor zip pocket and the hood was thing and flimsy, did not add warmth on the back of my neck when it was down. I wish it had a warm collar in addition to the hood.

Just Right
I wanted a long coat for those dog walks in the frigid weather in western NY! The hood fits over a hat, which keeps my head nice and warm. There's still plenty of room inside for a wrap around scarf. Perfect!

The warmest coat! Everyone was complaining of the cold and I didn’t feel a thing. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the shore color and the coat in general. Money well spent

Loved coat by size was off.
Really wanted this warm longer coat for outdoor walks in NH winter. Returned. I'm 5'4 160. Large was tight at the store. Felt like when you stuff a toddler into a snowsuit. My LL Bean stuff is often Large for room to layer or Petit XL, so I ordered the Petit XL. I like loose not baggy. It fit like XXXL Long! Returned it.

Great for winter walks in 5°F
This coat is an excellent compromise between warmth and weight. I have a 15 year old LLBean Penobscott Bay parka that is SO warm, but as I get older I don't do well with the heavy weight. The Popham Puffer coat is warm but lightweight and easy to move in. I've taken several 40 minute walks lately in 5°F weather (plus windchill) and been very comfortable. I wear a lightweight fleece and a Cresta Wool Midweight 250 Crew Top, this Popham Puffer, regular pants, knee high chore boots, ski mittens and a fleece gaiter for my face. Toasty warm.
The end of the sleeves are finished with elastic inside. This is fabulous with mittens or without. Super functional.
I recommend this coat.

Long, warm winter coat
Great warm, long, winter coat - meets my needs for those outdoor sports events. Needed petite size & it fit perfectly. Only comment - just one set of pockets doesn’t match with such a high-priced coat - expected more details.
