- Rib inner cuff: 90% acrylic, 8% polyester, 2% spandex.
- Shell: 100% nylon.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Faux fur trim: 85% modacrylic,15% polyester acrylic.
- Note: Remove faux fur trim before laundering. Faux fur is hand wash and dry flat.

STANDS UP TO A LAKE SUPERIOR WINTER
I received my Baxter State Jacket just in time for very cold, windy weather here in Minnesota. The wind-chills throughout the state were -40 F to -60 F for about a week. My jacket kept me toasty warm without the need of a sweater. I zipped up the jacket, put the hood up, and off I went of my walks. As is the case with the Baxter State Parka, the hood is well designed and is not blown back by the wind. This jacket will be wonderful for late season field canvassing in Duluth next year. If necessary, I could wear snow pants, but I was warm enough with medium weight pants and long underwear. The jacket is great for driving.
I purchased Men's Large. Weight: 150# Height: 5'10" I have a LL Bean Baxter State Parka Men's Medium that I wear for walks and winter door knocking for causes. I would recommend this jacket to a friend. This jacket only comes in Men's large. It would fit a woman who is 5'9" or taller who would normally purchase a men's size parka, but it would not fit a small woman.

The Warmest ever.
I am impressed with this jacket. I have tested it this winter at 16°F tempetures in NYC. I have replaced the parka from other brand to this short jacket. The pockets fabric are soft and cozy as extra protection from windy days.

This has the highest rating for warmth but is not good for anything below about 25 degrees.
It's a mid weight jacket and not good for Wisconsin Winters

Warmest Coat Ever!
Incredible warmth and wind protection. I have the jacket and the parka and both are well made and perfect when the temperature hits single and negative digits. Purchase with confidence, it’s very likely that you will never need to purchase another winter outer garment.

Nice Jacket
Very warm jacket. A couple of small critiques. One is the cell phone pocket on the outside next to the main zipper is too close. When jacket is partly zipped, those two zipper tabs are so close you end up grabbing both or the wrong one. Very minor complaint. The other is for the cost of these jackets they really should have metal zippers at least for the main zipper. Even cheap outdoor work gear apparel have metal zippers.
Other than those two minor issues, I recommend this jacket. Really warm and high quality (other than the plastic zipper).
