Warm and good quality
I recently purchased this jacket to do walks on cold mornings. Llbean rates this one like one of the warmest and it’s the outside fabric is very durable and resistant to tears inside has a couple or suspenders that help you to carry on

Down-filled coat that will keep you warm anywhere
Big, thick coat. Lots of warmth. Pockets where you want and drawcord adjusters below the rib and around the hood. Velcro adjusters at wrist and back of hood. Double-ended zipper so you can unzip the bottom so you can reach your wallet or sit down.
This is not a light coat; this is down-filled, windproof, water resistant coat that will keep you warm just about anywhere you want to go. Even when it’s 40, the coat is still comfortable just like when it’s 12.
Sizing: I ordered a 2X Tall. The tall part is perfect, but the 2X runs a little big. If you wanted a big, bulky sweater on, the coat will still fit.

Great for Alaska !
I'm in Fairbanks Alaska and needed a quality warm parka. If the car breaks down I want to stay warm. This parka is very warm. I have worn it in -30 degree weather, with layering underneath of course. As my grandfather told me, you get what you pay for, very glad I bought this. My wife also has the exact same parka. We go with what works.

Warmest Parka ever
I am a big fan of Bean products, quality that last's and a company who stands behind their brand. After buying my wife the best down parka and then last year the Baxter state parka, it was time I got some of that warmth. I received this as a Christmas gift this year and I am beyond happy with how warm and resistant to wind and water the coat is. This year has been cold and we aren't even into January yet. If you are like me and freeze all day long, then this is what you need. The bonus is my wife and I are "twinning" in the same coat.
Don't let the price deter you, you'll regret it!!!!
