True red color in sift well
Beautiful, interesting asymmetrical design. The wool is thick, yet very soft. The red is a true red, not bluish or orange-ish. A petite size would have been better for me, but the quality and color are so good I kept it.

Beautiful Marino Wool Fair Isle Sweater
Love this merino wool sweater and glad that I found it on sale about a month ago. I have reached for it often since it arrived. It fits true to size for me, its very warm, soft, and comfortable without being heavy or bulky. It does not pill even though it is merino wool. It has maintained its shape very well, and so easy to layer it with different colored turtlenecks for a little added color, because mine is the black fair isle pattern. Think I will have this classic sweater for years to come.

Nice sweater
I returned the sweater because it was not as roomy as my regular size XL is. However, the quality and feel of it is very nice. No negatives--just didn't fit me.

GREAT, WARM TRADITIONAL SWEATER
Just what I needed for this heinous winter. The sweater is very warm, stylish and not particularly bulky. I wear it over a cotton turtleneck or similar layer. I’ve only worn it a few times so can’t report on pilling. I plan to hand wash when it’s time. My skin tends to be sensitive and certain wools can trigger respiratory allergies but I can wear this sweater without issues.

It’s about the quality of the sweater.
It’s wonderfully soft and comfortable on the body. I usually am reluctant to buy wool as I found it too warm indoors and itchy to boot! Merino wool is different, a real eye-opener for me.

Warm and classic style. I bought the black and white and I think it could be reversible, it’s THAT well made. I bought a size bigger to allow comfortable layering as I live in those very cold neck of the woods. Absolutely worth the price.

My new sweater just arrived and the fit, design, and soft wool are all great. I am disappointed with the cheap plastic buttons which detract from the Nordic design. My old L L Bean sweater, which I love and still wear after 20+ years has beautiful metal buttons that really stand out. See photos attached of old and new. I am sure this is a cost saving measure but I will go buy myself 3 pretty buttons to jazz up the sweater since I plan to wear it for many years and want to love it.

Love the Fairisle pattern and the different spin on contrast of color (I ordered the Red). Winderful LLB quality, warm without being too overwhelming. Button collar is nice touch! Would love to see in other colors next year!

Warm but bulky
Bought this for a trip to Antarctica. Though it is warm … it is bulky and bulks out after several wearings. Pretty red for a holiday. Not flattering on a larger woman. A disappointing purchase.
And too expensive for an imported product.

Beautiful sweater but runs a little short
This is an amazing looking sweater and it is well made. It has a timeless look to it. I have no doubt it will last for many years. My wife’s only complaint was it is short…and this is an issue if you live in a cold climate. The rest of the sweater’s sizing is true to size. She corrected it some by washing it and stretching the material so the bottom of the sweater at least now covers the top of her hips. Other than that issue, it is an amazing sweater.

My new favorite sweater!
This sweater has structure, yet is still cozy. It's slightly fitted, but has room to layer underneath. The pattern is interesting without being overwhelming (I mostly wear solids). It's a classic that will be in my winter wardrobe for years to come.

This sweater is so well made. I brought a large in the Black & white so to layer base wear underneath. It's very warm and of a smooth fabric. I love it. I already wore it yesterday for Christmas shopping on our main street. I could have have fit the medium but for winter warmth and layering I went with the large.

The Overall Best
This Merino wool sweater is an ideal weight, neither too heavy nor too light. It is comfortably warm and, if it's like my other Merino wool sweaters, won't pill. I bought it in both the black and the red. Obviously, the black is a bit more subdued, but the red's asymmetry is artistic and inspired. The Mandarin collar and the loop closures are special features, and this is a special sweater not to be missed.
