A surprising Allagash Handsewn Moc
The Allagash Handsewn Mocs are comfortable, flexible and fit properly. The lug soles are very heavy. It surprised me that these "boat style" shoes are actually heavier than my lug style full size sneakers. The leather laces were also a surprise. Difficult to tie compared to the sneaker cord style laces. Other LL Bean "boat" shoes were too stiff and were returned.

The latest version of this shoe is not up to the standards I expected from LLBean. These are just a good pair of shoes. The bison leather shoes under the Allagash name are far superior in construction. I’m disappointed that you chose to downgrade your offerings. I always thought you offered the best value with no compromise.
