True to length, but runs wide/loose in the heel
I own the same style boot made by Ariat in the same size and width, which these were meant to replace. Comparing the two side by side, these run noticeably larger through the heel — enough that my foot slides and I got blisters after wearing them. I really wanted to love these because the look and craftsmanship are excellent, but the fit makes them hard to wear for any length of time. If I reorder, I’d try sizing down or going with a narrower width to see if that solves the heel slippage. Hoping to work out an exchange since the rest of the boot is great.

You have to break this in first. After that, the boot is pretty comfortable.
