- Order regular shoe size. (For half sizes not offered, order up to next whole size).
- Due to closer-fitting construction, people with a high instep may find the boots hard to put on. We recommend the Urban Storm Waterproof Shoes as an alternative with a more accommodating fit.

Broke within a week
We bought these one week ago for my son who is away at college. He has barely worn them and the metal laces hook has already pulled off. He needs boots and is nowhere near a store. I hadn’t expected that I would need to buy another pair of boots for him within a week and getting things to him quickly isn’t easy, so this is very inconvenient. As longtime customers we are very disappointed in the quality. I have reached out to LLBean and awaiting a response.

Impossible to get on
These look nice and rugged. I was hoping they’d be my new winter boot but unfortunately they are nearly impossible to get on. The design and attachment of the tongue is incredibly poor and fit has nothing to do with your arch as mentioned in the details.

Break in amd functionality
Purchased these boots as a one shoe solution for a 10 day vacation, anticipating a lot of time on my feet. Beak in has been excellent. No problems anticipated. Looking forward to the trip.

These boots are great once you fight to get them on. The tongue is stitched to high to allow enough flex to get them on. I probably should have returned them.

Nice Snow Shoe
Keeps the feet warm and dry in the snow and cold. We'll made and designed. Does wear better with an orthotic however.

Too difficult to put on foot
The gusset (flap that connects tongue to the upper) is up to high or not wide enough. Extremely difficult to get on foot even with laces completely loose. The loop on the back of the heel is to small to be of much use. Will be returning.
