Great Winter Sneakers
I purchased these for a rugged speaker in winter weather. they're not FOR snow (i.e. not waterproof), but they do well as all weather sneaker or hiker. There's not a ton of support, which I didn't expect to have for this type of shoe. They are super stylish though and will last. Be aware that these run about a half size big.

Great lightweight high top sneaker boot
Comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. Not very cushioned but I prefer a more natural foot bed so good to keep in mind if you prefer more cushion.

purchased these boots on sale as they were 'close' to the dirigo sneaker in construction (materials) -- was looking for something similar in comfort/support but with a higher top to wear during recovery from an ankle/foot injury. the dirigo sneaker is comfortable out of the box with great overall and arch support. sadly, the explorer mid falls short re arch support--in fact that lack may be responsible for a bag or balloon in the mid foot section--even with laces well tightened. that said, they are lightweight and perform as advertised in inclement weather--but the lack of arch support is a disappointment.

Style/ comfort/ lightweight boot
Hi LLB! I love these boots! I hike every weekend here in Colorado and I have worn these for the last year. I get lots of compliments and they work! But the tread is going.. are you making a new version for this fall?
