Purchased in size 7. Which is my size. Too big. Exchanged for a size 6. Still too big. Love the shoe. Very disappointed in the fit. Not true to size. Do not want to go through the trouble of exchanging them. I'm going to keep them, will wear them around the house. But, for future will not be buying shoes from LL Bean.
FYI LL Bean should work with Jones & Vining for their Last :-)
Will get a perfect fit each time.

Durable and comfortable
I bought these a week ago. I think they look attractive and are generally comfortable. The wool is a bit loose on the heel and I have to wear socks with them or they slip. I get cold so wearing socks isn't a problem. A size smaller would be too small so beware of this fact. Overall I am happy with them.

I have to say that I have had no had luck with L L Bean shoes in the past. I usually end up sending them back.
I fell in love with this particular pair and listened to the reviews. I normally wear a size 8 across the board, and decided to go with a size 7. They do fit, even my slightly wider feet. My heel does come up a little bit when I walk, but it is no more than if I were wearing a clog. I were merino wool socks in the winter.
I’ve yet to wear them a full day, but walking around the house they seem comfortable and warm. Considering getting the other color.

8's too large; 7's a tad too long, snug around ball of foot and loose around ankle. Usually take a 7 ½ W. Overall seemed to "klunky" and made feet look large. liked concept of a wool shoe, but didn't work for me.I had a pair of enclosed shoes, not clogs, by Stegmann years ago that I loved and finally wore out and couldn't find to replace. These LLBean do have a nice tread on them which would be good in winter outdoors. Color was nice (darker brown one).

Beautiful shoe but order a size lower.
Definitely size down! I’m typically a 7-7.5 and after reading reviews ordered a 6. They felt pretty good. Love the darker color and look of this slip on shoe and expect to enjoy it for awhile.

Comfortable, Practical
These slippers are very comfortable and look a lot like shoes. They keep my feet toasty warm. Thick and waterproof soles allow me to wear them outside to quickly refill the birdfeeders in the snow. The slippers do run a bit wide but accommodate for heavier winter socks.
