Our designers took our customer-favorite all-weather boots and made them better than ever before. They added a supremely cushioned B-Bound® midsole for more comfort, and a luggier VertiGrip outsole for improved traction. What hasn't changed is the tough-as-nails durability our Storm Chasers are known for.

UGH! Too clunky!
I have a pair of the side zip storm chaser 5 that I absolutely love. since they don't have that awful chunky sole, I get away with wearing them with nicer pants in the winter when visiting customers, yet not looking like I'm wearing a snow boot. These new ones are very clunky and unfortunately, I just can't bring myself to buy them. I have tried them on several times. The ones I have will just have to last me a few more winters until I can find something comparable. I'm definitely disappointed.

Easy access, medium warmth, fit a bit off
I bought these last season and read many of the reviews before purchasing. It’s true, the fit is a little funky, the boot narrows at the widest part of the foot, at the knuckle under the big toe and across from there. If I had a wider foot, these would not work for me. My teenager did not think they were stylish enough. I call them ugly cute and the swath of flannel adds to their character. I find them to be easy access with the side zip with the medium warmth I was looking for. These would be perfect if it weren’t for the somewhat odd fit.

New design disappointing
I have had a pair of these boots for 6 or more years and loved them. The material on the top of the foot is degrading so I ordered another pair. The old design somewhat resembled Bean’s classic boots and the new ones are like very ugly, taller than the old ones and chafed my legs the minute I walked in them. Also no pull tab at the back. I returned them immediately and I am very sad that they are so changed.

almost too warm! But I’m not complaining these will be great for colder days. Wish there was a taller version for snow days. Does run a bit big but consider it more room for thicker socks

Great Looking Boots
When I ordered I wasn’t sure what size to get so I read reviews and went for the 7.5M…I sometimes have to get 8’s due to high arches and on my right foot my big toe sticks out due to an injury on the tendon. The left side fits perfect but the right side feels really squeezed in at toe box. Only big toe hurts. I really love them and want to exchange but I’m at a loss whether to get 7.5W or go with sz 8. I just know I will pick the wrong one. I hope going with the 8 works out. These boots are really nice, even better in person and I am hopeful I will find a better fit. I’ve tried convincing my that they will wear in and fit because I don’t want to give them up. I love them and only reason 4 stars is because of narrow toe box.
