Perfect Shirt Dress, Love the Color
So cute! I ordered the cream-colored denim shirt dress. I’ve worn it with a brown, leather belt and boots and have received several compliments. That said, in the future, I will wear it without my belt as well. It looks great either way. I am 5’5”, 123 lbs and ordered an XS. Fit is great and the length perfect.

Too large for me
I am 5'3" and 140 lbs postpartum. The sizing chart instructed me to buy a petite L, but I bought a petite M. It was still too large. I am afraid the petite S will be too small. I am confused by the L.L. Bean sizing chart. It makes me sad because the quality of the dress is really impressive!

Looks like a lab coat
Title says all you need to know. I really wanted to like this shirt dress, but I made the mistake of ordering it in white. I look like I'm wearing a lab coat. Maybe a different color will be better, but avoid the white!

Really wanted this to fit, but way too large and long for me for my 5’ frame. Sleeves fit good, but big in the hips and hit me at the back of the knees, so a bit too much for my size. I wish LL Bean offered XXS petite in clothing, not just outerwear. Will be returning.

Does its job
This dress is exactly what I was looking for: a sturdy shirt dress in a great color. I will echo what others have shared about length, I wouldn't mind if it was an inch or two shorter in both the front and the back, but, ultimately, that is not a deal breaker for me.
