Top handle already ripped
I am disappointed in the quality of this product. My 7 year old has been using for only 5-6 weeks since school started and the top handle used for hanging has already ripped off.

Carry strap broke
Carry hook broke after 1 week. Exchanged it and the exact same thing happened. Now onto our third. The staff seemed annoyed with me instead of being apologetic. Hopefully this one holds out. Otherwise I'll have to return and give up on llbean.

Strap broke , used only two weeks.
My granddaughter very pleased to receive this backpack for school.
I was shocked to find out the strap broke after only using it for two weeks. I have bought many backpacks for my children over the years. Never had an issue.
After reading the reviews, I see many people are having this issue.

High quality
Nice quality, seems a bit little smaller than expectation (compared the standard LL Bean bag and Jansport bags we’ve also used recently). Kids love the way they look. We just started using them but construction seems great.

Great backpack!
This backpack is great for our 4th grader. It has a well balanced amount of pockets (big and small) for lunch boxes and pencils. The quality of materials seems high and I expect the backpack will last well into the 5th grade year (or beyond). Great job LL Bean! Glad to see a quality backpack on the market.
