Very Disappointing
I've been an LL Bean customer for nearly 40 years. I remember the rugby shirts Bean produced in the 1980s with great fondness. They were soft, heavy and flattering.
This version, however, is not any better than the goods you can purchase at big chain stores but for half the price. It's a much lighter fabric than earlier versions and that takes away from how flattering the garment appears when worn. Yes, it is a very soft fabric, but if it wears out after a few months, it's no better than any other average rugby. Bean has taught us to expect more from its goods.

Men's Rugby Shirt
The fit was perfect. I'm 6' 215 lbs and I sometimes get Large and sometimes get XL. The large are often tight in shoulders and chest and arms and the XL is sometimes too long in the sleeves and length of the shirt. I ordered the XL since it was 100% cotton and the fit is perfect. Sleeves and length of shirt are good and it fits really well in the shoulders, arms and chest. I love the color too. Very happy with the Polo Shirt.
