Want to love them as much as the first generation
Was so excited to see these back in the line up. I've had the first generation goretex ones for years and they fit like my favorite slippers, the only hangup is they are no longer waterproof. I'm so disappointed in the new version. First gen 11.5 wide, fits like a glove. new ones I tried both 11.5 Med width and 12 Mid width. Both of them are HUGE and clunky. I do not have small feet and there is so much room inside even with thicker hunting socks on that they just rattle around when word. Go back to the original recipe here fellas. These ones will be going back unfortunately.

Solid boots
Nice quality, super happy to see BOA back as an option! The boots ran a touch large for size and are very heavy, almost uncomfortably so, which is why 4 starts.

The boot is just ok
You can't tighten the bottom of the boot without over tighten the top part of the boot

Boa enclosed work pot
Highly Recommend for all day use in adverse conditions. I spend 8 hours a day on the move in a recycling facility on mixed terrain. After the break in period, say 3-5 days they are now on point.

Should be warmer for the price
So for as much as these cost, I had higher hopes for their overall warmth. I expected these boots to be a lot warmer. That being said, they are crazy stylish, and the BOA laces are crazy convenient!!!!!!

Terrible
The original 1 generation boa boots were the best boots I have ever worn. These are terrible. Fit is terrible, they put less down insulation in compared to the 1st generation which have more grams of down, the tongue isn't sealed on the sides like the 1st gen. I have returned them. LL Bean if you are listening bring back the 1 generation of these boots, these new ones are terrible.

Doesn’t stay water-resistant
I received a pair when they first became available. They soon began leaking at the toe crease—see photos. Otherwise they are great boots.

Dont fit
First gen boa boots were great. two sizes med and wide. this boot only comes in one width, too narrow for a wide foot and too wide for a medium foot. bought a pair, i have med wide foot. Way to large and wide for me. added insole and helped a little in forefoot but heel way to wide and just flops around. will be returning. really nice boot if you happen to have the exact size foot,
