Quality of the knitting disapointing, returning:-(
So sad! I was looking forward to loving this sweater for years to come. Unfortunately, the knitting is very loose--almost hole-y in places--especially in the torso. I don't think a new sweater should look like an old sweater. Knitting in the sleeves seemed ok (although sleeves were long for a petite). I would have loved it otherwise. It was a bit boxy and big but I was okay with the "boyfriend" look. I'm 5'4 135 pounds and got a Med P. For me it was soft and not too itchy at all, and the neck was a nice height for me. Sad sad sad.

I'm returning it
Bad combo for the neck. As others have noted, the neck isn't super loose. That, combined with the itchiness of the fabric, created a torture chamber for my neck. I could take the itchiness in the body of the sweater, but not rubbing on my neck. It's a nice, thick sweater, but it made me look like a sack of potatoes. I've returned the last several sweaters I've purchased from LL Bean. Their clothing is just not working for me anymore, sadly.

Love the Color & Fabric but cut for a Man's build?
Beautiful denim blue/marled color, love the loose roll neckline but the sweater is cut like a man's fit. I'm 5'8" tall and the XL comes down over my butt, sleeves are very long and shoulders, while drop cut, fit like it was made for a man? If you don't want it really long, go for the Petite fit. Expensive but hopefully worth it. So hard to find nice Wool sweaters - sure hope it does not PILL!

Ok but not great
Ended up returning this sweater. The neck was too high. I expected more of a mock neck but was more like a turtle neck. A bit of a boxy fit. I liked the color and material.
