Heavy outdoor sweater
Good Quality for serious outdoor wear, however returned as it was very heavy and a bit scratchy. I was hoping for a more everyday sweater.

Too big, too scratchy.
I suppose in recent years, any wool but alpaca has felt really scratchy to me. I wore this to church a few days ago, and after a half hour of itchiness, had to go out to my car to get a different sweater to put on. The pattern is beautiful, but the sweater is about 2 sizes too large. Such a shame.

Great for the outdoors
A heavy winter sweater. Would be great for outdoor activities. The Bordeaux red is on the rusty brown side , not a rich true red.

Classic style and versatility
I loved the cable knit pattern of this sweater so thought I'd give it a try. I ordered in XS and it's not as fitted as I'd prefer but it is warm. I will warn it is a little scratchy as it does have wool in it. I had to buy a cheap mock neck long sleeve undershirt to wear under the sweater so my skin wouldn't be itching all day. Overall the quality is great and the pattern and color are good. I ordered the ivory type color. Wish it was a little more fitted but not many are these days. This sweater goes well with corduroys or jeans and is warm and has a nice classic style.

Nice color, decent fit. FYI a plus size doesn’t mean the sleeve length needs to be so extra long!. Body width needs the extra inches not so much so with excessively long sleeve length

Great looking sweater
I bought this in November '25. It is rather boxy (pictures don't make it look that way). It seems that all the LL Bean sweaters are running shorter these days. I'd like to see another 2 - 3 inches on all of them. This also has some large gaps in the knitting stitches. I have some Aran yarn I may use to try to pull them in. It also started pilling badly the first time I wore it. I am hoping that the pilling reduces over time, because I love having a textured offwhite Aran style sweater in my wardrobe. I LOVE that it is machine washable. Big plus there!
