Our essential crewneck sweater is both classic and comfortable. In an ultrasoft midweight blend of 95% cotton with 5% cashmere for a luxurious feel.
We designed this versatile crewneck in a smooth, machine-washable cotton blend with a bit of cashmere for noticeable softness. Midweight construction in a melange knit makes it more substantial and perfect for changing seasons.

Cream of the Sweater Crop at LLBean
This is my 5th of these but the cream might just be my fav of all. It's such a beautiful color. Thank you LL Bean! I love the way this sweater fits. The shorter in front/longer in back adds some visual interest and a touch of modernity and fun. Ditto for the dropped shoulders. The shorter length is so perfect for petites. And it's boxy without being frumpy. The cut of the sweater and the side slits means that it doesn't just go around in a line, clinging to the hips and accentuating the broad points. I know that some don't like the fit of this sweater, but please, oh please, do not take this one away LL Bean. For me, it's the equivalent of the Saturday t-shirt (which you did take away and now I have no t-shirt choices). There are lots of sweaters out here with the traditional fit, but this one gives a choice to those of us who are shorter or smaller or just not into the more classic style all the time. Boxy but exactly as described- super soft and warm but looks a lot like a big sweatshirt. Returned as it was too large.

Disappointing Wash Performance
All was great with this sweater initially-nice fit, substantial knit, well constructed. I washed per according to the label and it is now a full size smaller. The fabric remained nice, however. I thought it was expensive for what it was-95% cotton, it was soft and cozy with the 5% cashmere, but now it's an expensive lesson learned.

Love this sweater. The color is spot-on gorgeous. Fit is just loose enough. I do wish it were just a tad longer . . . but that doesn't deter me from pulling it out and wearing it often. Looks great with a pair of blue jeans. (The true test.)

Shorter than expected and not as soft
I was a little disappointed in this product as it was not as soft as I expected and was short on me. I kept it and will wear it, but not as great as I though it would be.
