Only 1 star, multiple reasons, returned it.
Really wanted this “Chambray” shirt. It was back ordered, finally arrived. Very disappointed. I wear a women’s petite medium in a relaxed fit, which is what I ordered. It was way no big across the upper chest, material is a very light weight, collar has a white seam on the inside which does not look good & the collar edges leading to the collar points are rounded. Not a good look. Someone trying to jazz up a so called chambray shirt? Gave it one star for the good color. This is a let down. I expect better from LL Bean as I have multiple clothes from Bean.

Bought this a couple months ago and reviewed it at that time. So, recently I washed this shirt in hotter water than usual, because I wanted it to shrink a little. It shrank a little and fits better than ever. I noticed it did not demand ironing, but I ironed it because that is how I roll. Today was sunny and cool, by the ocean and this shirt was so comfy indoors and outdoors as well, with a cotton t-shirt under it. Just perfect comfort. I drove around for errands with this shirt crunched under the seat belt and noticed that at some point almost all of the wrinkles from the seat belt had fallen out. They could not have done better by me providing what I like in a cotton shirt for daily wear.

The Perfect Shirt x 2
This is the quintessential LL Bean shirt. Best ever. The fabric is a nice weight, beautiful color, not too thick. The shirt is very nicely finished. The fit is tailored but not tight, of course, not too blousy, and for once!, not too long on a petite. Not only do I recommend buying this shirt - I recommend buying two of them. I just ordered another because I plan to wear this like crazy.
