Great Spring Jacket - just one change I'd make
Love the jacket for Spring/Fall. I bought the jacket for travel - all the pockets are great. One change/enhancement I'd ask Beans to make is to have a two way zipper. The jacket zips all the way down to the bottom, which is fine when you're outside, but sit down in the car or a chair and it's too restrictive and bunched up. It does run a bit small - I ordered up one size.

Almost perfection
I wear this coat for hunting and gunning spaniel field trials. Pockets are laid out well. Warm. Stylish. I give it 4 stars because it is lacking a couple critical features. 1. a hood. 2. a waist sinch to tighten it up and keep the wind from whipping up your back. Side note - the shell holders in the front pockets do not work at all, but that doesn't bother me because I don't use them anyway. Someone else could be disappointed by this.

Poor inside pocket
There's only one inside pocket. The opening is 4.5" wide, but the top flap has the sides sewn down. This reduces the effective opening size. I bought a similar jacket from LL Bean about 7 years ago. Like this one, it has 6 pockets on the outside, but it has 4 pockets on the inside. This older jacket has more useful inside pockets. Other than that it's a good jacket.
