Small
Hard to get on my son’s foot. Struggled for 35 min and still couldn’t get it on.

Hard to Put On
This boot looks nice, and my son (9) says they are comfortable to wear all day at school. They seem to be very waterproof, but they are short so good for walking on roads and paths, not for trudging through deep snow. The big problem is that the opening is so narrow that he cannot pull them on by himself - it's like putting on a ski boot! I'm hoping they will soften and open up a little more over time.

Nice looking and well insulated but broke fast
These were great looking and looked great with everything. They were also warm and water proof. But, they were not that easy to put on and the outsole tip was detaching from the shoe only a month after purchasing.

Rubber Outsole started to detach after one use
After 1 use the toe of the Rugged Vertigrip rubber outsole of my Kid's Access Insulated Snow Boot started to detach from the boot. This is not the quality I was expecting from the L.L. Bean brand, one I have stood by for many years.

Bummed 8 year old
I purchased these boots for my daughter for Christmas and she loved them. They’re so easy to put on and take off and keep her feet warm and dry. After 3 wears the rubber part on the front completely detached from the boot letting snow into the sole. Would not expect this from an LL bean product and will unfortunately be returning for a more reliable brand.

Mixed
My son has had a mixed experience with these boots.
Pros: 1) Easy to get on (but he had to size up, so the boots are big on him); 2) No laces to deal with and easy to cinch up; 3) Comfortable enough to wear and play in for hours; 4) Easy to walk in; and 5) Good grip on the bottom.
Cons: 1) The boots don't come in half sizes, so we had to size up and then deal with boots that are big; and 2) They get wet easily and stay wet for a long time (even when left out to dry overnight in our mudroom). This is a big problem for snow boots at any price point, especially at this point from a brand known for quality. For that reason, I do not recommend these boots, unless you can dry them easily.

Don’t recommend
Really disappointed with these boots - really hard to get on and she had totally wet feet at the end of snow play time. Usually love LL Bean, but these are just not high quality.
