great jacket until you need to wash it
This is the best winter jacket I have ever had - right up until I had to wash it. Machine wash and dry - what a joke - it sits at the bottom of the washer a sodden mass - detergent not rinsed out and will not spin the water out - I will have to have it professionally washed. The washer is a Maytag and it handles everything else just fine, including all the other ll bean jackets I have.

Jacket if you are a small size large
This jacket is on the small side of large. The last jacket I bought from LlBean was bigger and fit better. It’s warm but not as warm as my other. If you have broad shoulders you might want to size up

Buy this lightweight but very warm jacket!
I replaced my old winter jacket with this, and it is perfect! It is very warm (removing snow from my car in 20-degree weather), yet it is lightweight and does not feel as though you have on a "heavy" winter coat.

Did not like Color
I LOVE this jacket! Great styling, 3 season weight, quality fabrics and hardware, perfect length, love having a hood. Nice shaping and not boxy. However the pink color is just too dreary and too dusty. I've been waiting for a cheerful, medium pink color (but not too bright or neon and not burgandy or red) and that's not the pale lavender color either. And it would be even more perfect if it had a two-way zipper for ease in driving. I have had the winter warmer coat in deep purple that I have had for years and years and I still get compliments on it! So I hope next season I will get my pink color.

Love the color, overall fit could improve.
Pros: LOVE the color. It feels warm as I put it on but I have yet to wear it outdoors. (Will have to put it to the test in colder MA weather)
Cons: I do wish the sleeves were more tailored for petites. The sleeves are a bit too long and I do not like the velcro at the end (for adjustment). I would have prefer buttons. I also would have wished the overall shape was longer. It would have been ideal to have this color coat in the windbreaker silhouette but with the lining to ensure warmth. They do have a longer version of this coat but I do not like the color choices. Even though the coat fits a bit bulky for my petite frame. I decided to keep because I love the color so much. We'll see if it keeps me warm in MA weather.
For reference I am 4'11/103lbs. I purchased the xxsp.

Great Product ,color too dark for my liking.
Love the product however, colors appear lighter in catalogues. Colors Very dark in real life.
