Versatile coat with great features
I bought this coat to replace an old coat that had similar styling and features.. Love the snaps in addition to the zipper. Also fairly lightweight considering how warm it keeps me. Light Olive color is very neutral. The only negative is the hood. I wish that the hood was removable or foldable.

Decent parka, cavernous hood
I bought this mid weight parka months ago. It's been too cold to try it outside. Today was perfect. The jacket fits well. It is not suitable for extremely cold weather. I have an LL Bean parka specifically for that situation. My problem with this parka is the hood. It's cavernous! Even if I adjust the strings on the front of the hood, that doesn't close up the depth of the hood. I do not have a small head and this is huge. That is my only problem with this purchase. I would recommend it to a friend with warning about the hood.

Not great so returned
I am a solid petite medium. This coat was tight in the shoulders and I put it on and went outside on a 20 degree morning and I felt cold. I went in and put on my 6 year old jacket that was part of a 3 in 1(the raincoat crapped out last year) and went back out and I felt much better. Tried that several different days even going out in my old jacket first. I sent the coat back.

Great features
I love this coat! The inside phone pocket really hooked me. So handy when your going to an event and can't take a purse. The color and warmth are great and it's water repellant.

It form fitting, so you will have to go one size up. My normal ll bean size is xl in different jackets.
