Nice mid-weight coat
I bought this to replace an LL Bean coat that I've had for over 20 years. I've been waiting for the right one and this was it. Nice mid-thigh length, full 2-way zipper, adjustable cuffs, inner drawstring, nice fleece lining in the hood. I also like the color, something other than black.

The Perfect Coat
This is the perfect coat. It's waterproof, windproof, comfortable and warm. The hood is not detachable which gives it a better fit. The pockets are roomy and zip closed. The coat has a double zipper and snaps. I've had a large for years (I'm 5'1", 155 lbs). I ordered an XLG because my coat was a little snug on the bottom but the XLG was huge so I returned it. If I could change one thing about this coat I would add a couple of inches to it.

WAY too big, Very lightweight
I followed the size chart and ordered a 2X, which is my usual LL Bean coat size. It was enormous. I could wrap it around to my opposite hip! I am not a small person by any means. It was also very lightweight and would probably only keep you warm down to 40 degrees at best. I returned it and got the Rugged Ridge Parka in 2X-- a replacement for my 17 yr old one!

So much to love but…
There is do much to love about this coat. The longer above the knee length, the quality fastenings, the storm flap and overall tailoring with princess seams; are all big wins and contribute to a great coat. But the dealbreaker for me was the plastic feel of the outer shell. The fabric was stiff, did not drape well and did not seem like it would breathe. I returned the coat because of the fabric.
This coat would be perfect if the outer shell was a heavy canvas type nylon.
