Great everyday winter coat
Perfect coat for everyday cold. It is a great weight for wearing in the car, not too bulky as many winter coats are. The hood is the perfect size to keep the rain and snow out of my face, and the sleeves are the right length.

Warmer than expected
I like this coat a lot. I usually take a medium, but decided to get a large to fit a sweater under it. The only drawback is the hood; it is just way too large and falls down in front of my face, even using the drawcord, and there isn't another way to adjust the hood to fit.
I am keeping the coat, but will need to have the hood worked on.

I chose the red which is a beautiful shade of red not bright more like a deep cherry

I am very sad about this coat
I am on my 3rd winter warmer coat, a black one I bought last year. I love that one and the two previous coats. Sadly, they have changed the coat in ways that make it unacceptable to me. I had read another review about this and decided to give it a go because purple is my favorite color. I ordered the same size as last year's, which still fits me perfectly. Well, it came, it's a beautiful color, but it's going back. The coat is a slimmer fit than it used to be. Why? I don't know. I still have to wear it over a sweater, only now I'll look like the Stay-Pufft Marshmallow Man, no thank you. The sleeves are definitely tighter also, and I agree with the other reviewer than the velcro wrist tightener is a step backward from the wonderful fleece wrist insert they had before. Again, why? I don't know. You had a lot of success selling this coat as it was, but now you're going to lose people.

Looks well constructed coat.
Only 3 stars despite what seems to be a well-made, warm coat.
The color is simply awful on me. Despite being advertised as a pale olive green, it isn't remotely green, grey, or off-white. Online, it did look a pale olive green but not in person. With my light blonde hair, my Mom would say, "The color washed me out".
I ordered a petite large because I wanted this coat to be my go-to coat for really cold weather. It is large on me over just a flannel shirt. I hate being squashed into a coat if I layer a heavy sweater under it, hence the large.
It looks very well made-double zipper that works well, a drawstring inside to cinch in the waist, stitching looks well done, lining looks like it will be very warm and doesn't appear to shed fuzz.(so far)
I'm 70 years old, 120lbs and 5' !".

It’s okay & comfortable fit.
I recently just bought this and I’d say it’s good for northern alaskas fall weather but wouldn’t be warm enough for the winter. I’m 5’6 and got a large for it to fit over my baby bump, however the bottom where it hits the thighs is too wide and wind easily drafts up. all in all it’s a nice jacket, would not recommend for -0 and below weather.
